What are the ages of the three brothers?
I. The product of their ages is 21.
II. The sum of their ages is not divisible by 3.

Answer & solution

Answer: 4

Solution

From statement I, the ages could be either (1, 3, 7) or (1, 1, 21). Statement II doesn’t simplify this further as none of the above combinations when added is divisible
by 3.
Hence, the answer is (d).
