How many elements does S contain?

Solution

100 ≤ x ≤ 200 and x is odd multiple of 3 which is not divisible by 21.

Number of x those are odd multiples of 3 = 16

Number of x those are odd multiples of 21 = 3

∴ Number of elements in S = 16 − 3 = 13

Hence, option (d).
