Solution
For Karnataka the increase from the year 1998-1999 to 1999-2000 and the increase from the year 1999-2000 to 2000-2001 is the same.
Increase from 1998-1999 to 1999-2000 = 4839 – 4265 = 574
Increase from 1999-2000 to 2000-2001 = 5413 – 4839 = 574
Hence, option (a).
